What to Expect in a Session

​

Each craniosacral therapy session takes place in a peaceful space. You’ll stay fully clothed and lie comfortably on a treatment table. I use gentle, intuitive touch to listen to your body’s rhythms and help release tension, guiding your system back to balance.

Many people find the experience deeply relaxing—some even fall asleep during the session. You may notice a sense of lightness, calm, or feeling more grounded afterwards. Sometimes, people become more aware of sensations in their body or experience emotional release, such as sadness, joy, or even laughter. The most common feeling is a deep sense of calmness and relaxation.

If you don’t feel anything right away, that’s okay too. Your body may need time to process the treatment, and the effects can unfold gradually.​​​

How Many Sessions Will I Need ?

This varies from person to person. Some feel a shift after one session, while others benefit from ongoing support. We’ll discuss your goals and tailor a plan that feels right for you.​

Help your body and mind get the most from your session by following these gentle tips:

Before your Session: ​

​

  • Dress comfortably, you’ll remain fully clothed during your session, so soft, loose-fitting clothes are ideal.

  • Eat lightly, avoid heavy meals beforehand. A light snack is fine if needed.

  • Stay hydrated, drinking water before and after your session supports your body’s natural healing.

  • Arrive early, give yourself a few minutes to settle in and relax before we begin.

During the Session

  • Relax and let go, there’s nothing you need to do—just lie down and allow your body to respond.

  • Share any concerns, If you’re feeling anxious or uncomfortable, please let me know. Your comfort matters

After the Session

  • Take it easy, allow yourself time to rest and integrate the work. Avoid rushing back into busy tasks.

  • Notice changes, you might feel more relaxed, sleep better, or experience emotional shifts. These are all part of the healing process.

  • Keep hydrating, continue drinking water to support your body’s ongoing release and balance.
